An Indiana limited liability company is formed by submitting in duplicate the Articles of Organization and paying the filing fee to Indiana Secretary of State, Corporations Division. Submit the form by mail, fax, in person or online. The filing fee is $100. Fax filing is allowed with a pre-paid account only. Online filing is offered for domestic formations. Processing time is approximately one week by mail or fax. Indiana does not offer an expedited filing option, but online filings are reviewed within the hour submitted, with approval or rejection coming by email.

Qualification of a Foreign LLC in Indiana

Register your foreign LLC to do business in Indiana by filing in duplicate the Application for Certificate of Authority of a Foreign Limited Liability Company with the Indiana Secretary of State, Business Services Division by mail, in person or by fax with a pre-paid account. The filing fee is $100. Also, attach an original certificate of good standing from the domicilary state dated within 60 days of filing.
