To register a Tennessee LLC, you submit the completed Articles of Organization to the Tennessee Secretary of State, Business Services Division. File the articles by mail, in person or online. The filing fee is $50 per member with a $300 minimum and $3000 maximum fee. Tennessee will process filed documents in no more than a week if paper form is filed. Online filings are processed in two days.

Qualification of a Foreign LLC in Tennessee

Register your foreign LLC to do business in Tennessee by filing the Application for a Certificate of Authority to the Tennessee Secretary of State by mail or in person. File the application with the $300 filing fee. Include a certificate of good standing from the formation state that is less than 60 days old.
